In reponse to the question about "defending monks," it really depends on the type of build. I've run builds before with a necro bonder, who can spike and life bond all of the monks. Have also run builds using a W/Mo with succor. But yea, generally you see Mo/E glyph monks, OoB monks, VIM monks, or the typical Mo/Me.

Martyr on a monk is a waste of skillslots. Either use Draw or Restore on the Prot, or Martyr on a /Mo.
